Scarves are wonderful. I've colllected them for the past 25 years. I found many scarves at the thrift store --silk! Each one takes me back to a different time in my life. Oh shoot...now I'm thinking of hubby and I'm getting sad. He gave me many of them!

Love the post. I am 50% Italian! My grandmother was the only one of her siblings born in America. She lived with never sister and they spoke Italian when they didn't want you to know what they were talking about. Needless to say, I use to be good at understanding Italian.

Looks like you have a quite some Italian blood in you. Hubby's grandma's name is Florence as well. She's part German, part Scottish :o) Grandpa is Czech. Yup! I went all the way to US to meet and marry half a Czech boy ;o)

Are you kidding Bee. This was a very interesting blog this morning. I enjoy hearing and seeing about the history of peoples familys. It shows you where and how they came from. Please do more my friend because I'd like to find out more about where you came from, your family and just about everything.
