Yesterday I hurt a fellow blogger with my rant and for that I am truly sorry. I never ever mean to hurt anyone. I am just me and I say what I think. Something about no filter between my brain and my mouth (or in this case, my fingers), anyway I'm sorry. Buggers to me.
Well I sure sold Apple too soon didn't I? Man it went up $40 a share in the four weeks since I let it go for the second time. Oh well. And the iPad three is about to hit the stores too. Don't know that I'll buy one though, I'm still happy with what I have. I would, however, like an iPhone5 it that happens. I am still using my iPhone3 and it still works like a charm but you know me, I love me some apple stuff.
I got asked to play in a Friday canasta game yesterday. I said I'd sub but they are pressing me to play. I really need some days for errands and stuff. Too many days in a row and it'll get boring too I think. I love playing but three days plus the days I sub is plenty plus poker on Tuesday nights too. Heck I won't have time to get lonely will I? Yeah, right.
Less than two more weeks and we go back on Daylight Savings time! I love that. Daylight later in the day makes me happy. I'd rather stay up later and sleep later in the mornings.
They sure are making a big deal out of Tiger Woods playing the Honda Classic. I say who cares? He was a great golfer yes, but now? I think his shine is on his shoes. You'd think Elvis was in the building for heaven's sake.
Gasoline: how high will it go this time? The people changing the price signs are getting carpal tunnel syndrome I think.
Today is MahJong and after that I am going to roast a chicken for the next several days meals. I bought a small one and love a good roasted bird. I like sauerkraut with it too and a baked potato. Gosh yesterday I was talking about ham and potato salad and today roasted chicken. I need something good to eat! I think I am down 39 pounds now but have not weighed at Dr. Wacks lately and that's the true weight but my scale says 39. Sarge would be so happy. No, he is so happy about the weight loss. I know he is.
So I lost $55.00 at poker last night but not to worry because I won $1.25 at canasta. It's almost even, right?
Have a lovely Prince Spaghetti Day y'all. Me too...

Hugs to you. I took your what was written as your way of pointing out how the city is being inconsistent. Not that people on food stamps were bad. But that is how I read it.
I expect Gas to go over $5 a gallon. Historically looking at graphs gas prices rise substantially during election years. And right after the election they plummet.
A 40 pound weight loss is fabulous, Bee! And yes, Sarge IS proud of you. I am glad you know that and feel it. Maybe I should say it in the past tense, but I think his Soul is aware in the present tense, so I'll say it that way:)
You are right, too many days playing cards in a row could get boring. Time for errands and time to relax occasionally is good too.Bummer about selling the Apple stock too soon. However, a small gain is better than nothing.
Gas will probabaly be $5 a gallon by the end of the year.
((hugs))
I agree with @Karen, that how I took what you wrote, the city being inconsistent.
You are doing so well with your weight loss... I am so inconsistent, all over the place. I just can't seem to get it right and stay on tract.
You are very inspiring to me.
And yes by my math you did break almost even.....
cheers, parsnip
Congrats on the weight loss, it is a big deal and I am so happy for you! Yes, sometimes we do step on others toes but it is your blog and I do not believe you ever set out on Facebook or your blog to purposely hurt someone! Have a wonderful day, hugs :)

It does sound like you are keeping busy. That's good, I think. I have mixed feelings about the daylight. On one hand it means it is getting warmer, but on the other hand, it means the city will heat up. Don't like that much. In one week, a 9 month old was shot and killed, a six year old was shot and critically wounded and. 14 year old boy shot his mother to death. It's the wild, wild west in the motor city. Can't wait for my new position to start!
Of course Sarge is proud of you - whatever you do!
That's a bummer about the Apple shares. :(
well, now Tiger is probably mad a t you too. . I for one, found irony and humor in what you wrote, about the bears.
OH, BTW, Big Bang reruns are on TBS pretty much every night. go see some. love you bye
Buongiorno!
We all are happy about your weight loss, you are a great example!
I'm not so constant!
Your days are plenty, so you don't feel lonely...
Have a great Wednesday!
Big hugs!
Is the blogger that you insulted one of the twins?
Just kidding (trying to make you laugh as I am generally good comic relief)
have a great day.
You didn't hurt anyone's feelings Ms. Bee. It IS funny about the bears. My reactions to things is all over the place lately--I think a lot of my feelings are driven by fear and grief. Maybe that is one of the "stages" we read about? Congrats on the weight loss--Sarge is very proud of that and of how you are handling everything.
Bee, you wouldn't intentionally hurt anyone's feelings. Ever.
Congrats on that weight loss. I know Sarge IS proud of you, as always. And Tiger? You got that shine correct!
See ya later, gator. Real hugs then, honey...
I agree with you about preferring Daylight Savings Time. I wish we could just stay on it the entire year. Love having extra daylight when I get home from work.
concatulations on your weight loss Auntie Bee - YOU ROCK!!!!!
we like daylight later too - more sun puddles to lay in!!!
we loves you!!! - xoxoxoxoxox - your Sammie Pie
I can't imagine you intentionally walking on someone's feelings. Ever.
Sometimes I open mouth and insert foot, too. And I feel just awful afterwards. It doesn't happen often. I always try to speak as though the whole world is listening or that it may be in the paper the next day. That happens when you grow up in a house with 7 younger siblings... someone is always listening and will share what they heard! :)
Or as I often say, "I never leave home without an opinion. You'll never have to wonder where I stand on something if you ask." Usually, that's a good thing. Sometimes, not so much.
BIG congratulations on the 39 pounds in the rear view mirror. I wish I'd started when you did! srsly.
Big hugs xoxo
You're right Bee, losing $55 and winning $1.25 is just about even. You are funny my lovely friend.
Just about 40 lbs, that is fantastic and I guarantee Charlie is sitting in heaven so excited with your lost of weight. My daughter has just joined weight watchers and I'm using you as a positive person for her to look at.
My doctor gave me some medicine to knock off this cold. I should be getting better soon. I did ask him that question that you and I were discussing about and he said yes but at particular situations.
Well it times to go Bee. Keep looking so beautiful. See you.
Paul
$5 seems a cinch. It's right around $4 in Chicago right now -- and we're actually NOT the highest in the nation, by a long shot, at present. Memorial Day is when prices shoot through the roof around here; that's when they switch to a 'summer blend.' Of course, they can't shoot through the roof this year because the prices are already above the roof. This year... through the clouds.
How... high-tech.
But no one is profiteering. Nope. Nothing to see here, citizens. Move along.
Miss Bee
There was no bad intent in your thoughts and anyone who knows you, knows that. We've all become too doggone politically correct. It's almost getting where one is afraid to express their own opinions.
**end of rant**
Sending you a big furry hug from Abby
Good morning, Miz Bee. Today's a new day. And yes, a win cancels out the loss!
Have a great day!
You should be able to say what you think on your blog and in real life. This is a free country after all :)
I'm down 5 lbs so far. I made a mean salmon, sweet potato & roasted asparagus on Satuday. I'm still dreaming about it. That's how good it was :)
Hugs from Ohio,
I.
You didn't hurt my feelings, and it's your blog so rant away. Congrats on the continuing weight loss, enjoy your roasted chicken. Sending hugs...
I don't know what you wrote that you hurt someones feelings. I miss stuff all the time. I try not to read into things since sometimes what is written isn't what was necessarily meant. Enough on that.
The roasted chicken does sound good. I eat pretty bland all the time and I can so relate to have some real food. Like pasta.
Way to go on the weight loss and yes Sarge is proud of you as we all are. Awesome in fact.
Yes you are almost even. Bwahahahahaha.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs. :)
I'm going to agree with Sandee on trying not to read into things as it's so easy to inadvertently hurt someone's feelings when all you are doing is expressing your own. Without voice inflection and tone though, it's darned easy to do sometimes I'm afraid.
Congrats on losing the 40 pounds! I think I might have found it though ... buggers!
Hope you have a great "extra" day today though personally I can't wait to turn the page on February this year!
I actually couldn't think of anything you posted yesterday that would have offended anyone...except those darn twins! Oh well, maybe I'll go back and reread.
Bee, those of us that know you, know that you would never hurt anyone's feelings on purpose. It is so easy to take things wrong on the internet.
I love roasted chicken, although I usually pick one up at Kroger. Do you have Kroger there? They are very yummy and James and I have not figured out why we don't just do them ourselves.
One more day of work for me, then finishing up the laundry and packing for BC5. I wish I could just transport you there to be with us. You and Sarge will both be with us in spirit though.
Love you bunches!!
my hugs and prayers are with you!
