So it's Sunday and I have another twin tale for you. This is one of them at the snack counter yesterday. Anyway our club has lovely dinners in the big dining room but we used to have hors d'oeuvres first in the bar. Big shrimp, huge trays of cheeses, veggies and dips, all kinds of nice stuff. The cost of the drinks and dinner really covered the cost of the snacks (in theory). That is until the twins. You see they ordered a glass of ice and brought out their own can of soda and ate the free food until they were stuffed and took with them all they could and left. No dinner, no drinks, just the free stuff. We don't have that any more. Are you sure you want to hear more about them? Cause there is lots more to tell.
I think I have all the banking stuff reentered, there aren't that many transactions because there is only utilities and insurance (dental and stuff like that) and I found them all online and called and reentered them. At least I think I found them all. I went back through the previous months to see who he paid how much.
So today is WalMart day again. It sure rolls around in a hurry. I don't need too much this week. I've been eating up stuff out of the freezer the past few weeks. But I need some of those flat raisin bagels, I love those things! They are two points and so delicious. Last week I forgot to buy them and I like them for breakfast, all week long I've been eating toast or cereal and wishing I had remembered them.
You know the weekends are the worst time for me. I am busier during the week. Something about Saturday night and Sunday night that makes me so lonely. I know I could call someone and go out to dinner but I'm not ready to go out at night yet. Soon maybe but not yet. I get invited but make excuses. I tell myself the reasons I can't go are real but I know in my heart they are just excuses and I am just not ready.
And on that note I'll go for today. Have a wonderful Sunday y'all. Me too...

25 notes:
Take your time and do not let any one push you! You will know when it is time!
Agree with Angel&Kirby.
((hugs)) to you, dear Bee. It IS lonely. My empathy. ((more hugs)).
The twins sound smore dreadful each time, shudder.
Buongiorno!
Twins Tales are a great (negative) example, I hope they will one day redeem themselves from this terrible reputation! (???) Maybe?
Have lovely time with Old Duck! Enjoy the flat raisin bagels...
Big huhs, honey!
Ciao!
I know that twin.... Just kidding! Xoxo
Bee, You are doing terrific. Just keep on keepin on!
Enjoy your Sunday & Walmart. Take a nap this afternoon & just relax.
Hugs
Lynn
if everyone, and the club know about this, why don't they do something?? write a letter to them, and their husbands. or just embarrass the crap out of them and say "put the damn peanuts back. maybe they need to put them in one of those treatballs, like I got for my dog?? that would be a hoot, watching them bat that thing, and shake it trying to get a peanut out!!
Aren't people funny and some a little strange? I had to wonder if they are having money problems and just trying to make ends meet any way they can.
I noticed on one of our cruises departing from a specific port, which I shouldn't name, the "natives" on board would take bags into the buffet area and fill them with fresh fruit. I thought that was a little strange. I suppose they got their money's worth from that trip. When they departed the ship, they didn't have to board a plane or go through customs. Maybe they brought a suitcase to hold all the fruit when they left.
I do the same thing, Bee. It is just too difficult to be with other people because...before...Fred would have been there beside me and being there without him--even with other people around, just makes it that much more lonely. I think I could become a recluse real easy.
I LOVE the twins stories--too bad they have ruined it for everyone else--seems like the director or someone could tell them to stop taking the free food...but I know that won't happen.
What a cheepo! I wish they would both get caught. A few bad apples definitely spoil the whole barrel.
Good for you, getting all that banking stuff done. I knew you could do it. And you just do what you want to do when you want to do it:)
Big hugs, my dear...
Auntie Bees
Yoo gotta tell more of dem stories on dem twins!
Here's your daily furry hug
Abby
Oh, yes, DO tell more twin stories! It takes all kinds to make a world and I feel like I'm people watching through your eyes. Oh! And you got a photo! I think that makes you an undercover reporter now! hahahaha!
You do what you want on your timing whenever you're ready.
Now I've got to go make me a bagel! With Nutella, I believe!
big hugs xoxo
Wow those twins are a piece of work. I guess you just have to shake your head.
I love bagels, I have not tried the thin ones, I guess I need to go find some now.
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday, I will be starting some packing today so I don't stress myself out too much during the week, which is silly cause it always gets done. Oh well, at least I know what to expect from me.
Magic and Maverick send purrs with my hugs.
There are lots of folks like the twins. I know some and don't much care to be around them. I call them takers. They search for the givers and then move in. I don't care for that type at all.
I'm sorry the weekends are so hard for you honey. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make things better, but I know I can't.
Glad you got all the bills figured out. I knew you would.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs from cold but sunny California. :)
Hi Bee, it's Paul that sick person in Canada. On Tuesday Mary Lou has to go and have a colonoscopy for the first time. I've three already.
The twins should be thrown out of group. It's unbelievable that people are so rude and disrespectful to the others.
On Sunday evening why don't you just call me on the phone. I would love to hear your voice. Think about it Bee.
Have to go. The ivory throne is calling. Ha,ha,ha. See you.
Paul
My twin and I lives such boring lives!
The twins remind me of my husband's aunts. They would go into a restaurant and leave with pats of butter and individual creamers. They were embarrassing to take out!
You'll go out when you're good and ready. One day you'll just surprise yourself by saying yes.
I think you are doing really well, Grammy. Do whatever makes you feel good, and if going to dinner doesn't feel good right now, don't worry about it.
I am loving all the twin stories! :D How funny.
Geesh, kinda reminds me of the story hubby told me about the lady at the buffet restuarant (Ryan's or Country Buffet) who stole a whole roast beef and put it in her purse.
What's the point? I couldn't look at myself in the mirror after that.
Bee, you do what makes you comfy. It's your life. Just please don't swipe the sirloin... LOL!
Love you!
((((hugs))))
What's on her head?
Those twins sure are cheeky! :0
You don't need to go out until you're ready, and only you will know when you're ready Bee. xx
Big hugs!!!!!!!
No rush to do anything with anyone. It's nice that you get invited, but you'll know when you'll feel like doing stuff.
Those raisin bagels sound yummy.
Take your time, you'll start feeling like going out with your friends again.
Maybe volunteering will help with the lonely weekends?
Oh those spoilers!
