Monday stuff...

Gosh it was cool and cloudy yesterday, other than the fact that it was 70 degrees it looked like it could have snowed, it was that kind of day.  The duck and I went to the WalMart and then to eat and that was very nice.  Today is 82 but another rainy day.  That's why I posted the photo of Atlantis in Nassau, to feel warmer.

I saw this on Facebook and wanted to share:

The food stamp program, part of the Dept. of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.  Meanwhile the Park Service, also part of the Dept. of Agriculture, asks us to "Please not feed the animals." because they may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

Today I am playing MahJong with three other gals, neighbors that called me and asked me if I could play and yes, I can thank you very much.  I think it's a one time thing though.  They are snowbirds.

So now for your "twin story"... they shower at the club to save their own hot water and towels and soap and shampoo, the club even has the hairspray and lotions and hair dryers, all of it.  And I don't mean they shower after golfing or something like that, no, they shower there daily.

Have yourselves a lovely Monday.  I'll be busy so I'll try to also...

ANd how many human animals have become dependent and not learned how to take care of themselves?

Look on the bright side, at least they are showering daily!

My daughter and I hosted a baby showe with 50 guests. Near the end, one older guest started collecting leftover favors and cupcakes to take home with her. I was surprised by her behavior, but can clearly see she has southern competition in the outrageous department.

Buongiorno!
I hope you feel warm!
The twin story...will we hear that they also sleep in a secret edge of the club?

I wish you a warm new week!
Enjoy the MJ game!

Big hugs, honey!

Boy, there's a lot of truth to that!

Why the heck hasn't the HOA attended to this? Bugs me that two dingbats can ruin a lovely time for all the rest of you.

Here's hoping your week is full of really fun things...
Blessings ♥

Hmm, I have to wonder what happened to or what has made the twins the way they are. I have seen documentaries and such on people with odd or not so normal behaviors and of course it always stems from something in the past. Who knows, maybe it's just the way they are/taught..I will say it is interesting though hearing about their practices. Have fun at the game!! Hugs, love & prayers Bee :)

Yup... the human animals have indeed become dependent on handouts and have learned that someone else will pay for it. US. dur.

I am sure the club has a very nice shower and all... but ewwww! Back in the day I refused to take a shower at school, ever! Even when they threatened to flunk me or suspend me. I like my own private shower, thank you very much.

Have fun at Mahjong! big hugs xoxo

I have been on food assistance before I met Fred. This month, I reapplied again, but because I got a 32.00 raise in Social Security, it was $20.00 over the limit, so I get no more help from the State. I never wanted to take any help. I was told I needed too and that the money was there to help the poor and the elderly. I am both! It's not always lazy people who are on assistance. Sometimes it is older women who are divorced or widowed and never got their husband's pensions--who are living on less then $1,100 a month--that would be me. It is more then difficult--it is terrfying.

All for helping those who truly need it, but 50% of the US is considered poor? 50%? That is what this administration is saying. Since when did dependence on the government become a right?

Years ago went out to lunch from work with the ladies. One of the women took all of our uneaten meals to bring to her husband for dinner. I was so grossed out!

Good morning Bee. I was so glad hearing from you yesterday.

Those twins are unbelievable. Somebody should take a film of what they do.

Today begins Mary Lou's prep for her colonoscopy.I know what it's like.

Well that's about it for now my lovely friend. Try to have a good day Bee.

Yes, very appropriate about 'not feeding the animals so they can't/won't learn hoqw to take care of themselves! I can almost hear Sarge saying that too!

Those twins are DREADFUL! Can't someone stop them? Say something to them? Send them a bill for what they take?

So true about the food stamps vs feeding the hungry animals.

Okay I did not read perhaps/ can't find the initial story about the twins, I am guessing these are two sisters or close roommates that are cheapo cheap? Oh man, people like that are usually democrats too.
Most of them give $223.39 maximum every year for charity - gritting their teeth doing so.

I hope your Monday has been good so far.
I started out peppy, did a zillion things and now I am pooped.

I stopped feeding the birds for the same reason. ;) Hope you had a fun day! (hugs)

I don't like the twins one bit. They would make me crazy. Crazy I tell you. I just hate users that spoil things for everyone else.

I can so relate to the welfare program. The birds too. I have a ton of welfare birds here.

Have a terrific day honey and stay warm. Big hugs. :)

Those twins are so incredibly cheap.

They must get some kind of thrill out of doing what they do.

I can't believe they get away with doing that stuff, all the while spoiling things for everyone else. How self-centered can people be?
