Wonderful! Just absolutely wonderful! Had a hard time loading the video on my laptop and Virgin Mobile Broadband, but it was worth the wait. Several years ago, I got to sing it with my church choir and the Toledo Symphony. There is nothing like a huge choir and "Handel's Messiah"....gives me goose bumps. Let the season begin!

HOLY COW. That was a thrill!!! First time I sang that I was 15. I got to sing it in the rotunda of the California Capital building - the acoustics were incredible. I got to participate in the community choir here in town with full orchestra and soloists from about the country. Never, ever will I fail to cry or be moved by Handel's genius!
Thank you so much for posting this. I'm going to spread this around....

Now that right there is MY kind of shopping trip! That would have been so cool to have been at and try to sing along with. I know I can't carry a tune in a bucket but I sure like to try - especially when I know the music.
