Well first of all here is the balcony furniture that we finally chose and had to wait eight weeks to be delivered because they had to sew it up in the fabric I chose. See that little round blue glass table top? I could have had marble. For $900.00 more for the top. $900.00 for that little thing? Yeesh. So I got the glass top instead. Seriously.
Now I have to tell you about yesterday. I got to the pool at 8:00 (in the AM!). I was the first one there. I got to thinking no one else was going to show up. It was 69 degrees and the pool is no longer heated as the club has no money, remember? Well I got to thinking what am I, nuts or something? They slowly they started to show up. Straggling in like they were on a death march actually. The teacher did not even wear a swim suit, she said it was too cold for her. (!) I got in first. It was pretty bad at first (actually about as cold as a cast iron toilet!) but then it got okay. I did the whole hour and it was feeling really good after the first few minutes. I am loving this. I just wish it was summer again.
Today is Canasta and Poker. And lunch with the girls. My favorite day of the week, remember? I got a new bead order in too. So much to do! I am lovin' it!
Have a great Tuesday. I know I will.

20 notes:
Huzzah to you for being brave and not just getting into the pool but staying there for the whole hour! I know that usually once you start moving around in cold water that it's okay but it's the getting there that's the hard part!
Good luck with Canasta and Poker today - kick some behind and bring home the big bucks!
Buongiorno!!!
I think that we have to face the situation coragiously (?), and we 'll satisfied!
Have a great day on Tuesday, like yesterday!!!
Hugs!!!!
I love your balcony furniture! But why didn't you get balcony height furniture? It looks like it rocks and swivels, too. Does it?
Enjoy your canasta and poker, although lunch with the girls would probably be my favorite!
Big hugs :]
love the new furniture and brrr to that water! Have a pleasant Tuesday, Bee.
I LOVE that furniture. What a nice design.
You would never find me going into that pool...unless I was on fire, and even then I'd have to think about it. Good for you!!
LOVE the new furniture! So pretty and worth the wait! You are brave for getting into the cold pool. Bravo to you.
Pretty, pretty! Cold water? You are one brave woman! Not me.
Big hugs, honey...
Ooooooh cold water isn't appealing but BRAVA to you for enduring it for a whole hour! You're gonna be so fit! :)
I've always hated jumping into cold water.
I am proud of you, only a true athlete would do that! Just think how fit you will be by summertime! Good job! Love the new furniture too.
♥
Now we want a footstool :)
I did a post today that I think every woman should read, men also. My blog
Tell Sarge he'll have to wait another 6 weeks for the footstool. Just saying. Love the new patio furniture.
Good for you for hanging in there for your exercise at the pool. The death march huh? That must have made you smile.
Have fun at lunch and cards today honey. I do know this is your favorite day of the week. Big hug to you both. :)
Love your furniture Bee and Charlie, get your footstool you deserve it.
Bee you are a strong woman to get in that 69 degree water. I knew you were strong but water has to be at least 80 before I'll get into it. I just completed baking two batches of Italian Biscottis and I did all by myself. My mom is at my brother's place for the week. Truthfully, I've been doing them myself. I just like to ask mom to spend the day and I want to cook her a good meal. Well I still have to do one more thing with my biscottis. See you.

The furniture is beautiful. May you have many pleasant hours out there just watching whatever pleases you. $900 for marble? That's a lot of beads.
Good for you getting in the pool :) That is what the class is and I think the "teacher" should have done the same! I am glad you still enjoyed yourself, even with the cooler water temps. I LOVE the patio furniture, it is very clean and simple and I love the touch of blue on the table. WOW 900 bucks more for marble...no thanks, haha!
Hugs :)
Love the furniture and good for you keeping up with the exercise.
JJ
ROFL.... at I'M Loving it! I just pictured you in a McDonalds commercial.
Good for you on not chickening out of the cold pool. Its all cold until you get used to it. I never could just jump right in though. I always had to warm up inch by inch.
I'd take 69 degrees instead of my heat coming on any day. The temperature in my house is set at 62, fuel oil is just so darn expensive these days. Lots of blankets.
Yay for water exercise! Yay for PolarBee-ar! So will they turn on the heater or will the group disband? Your teacher sounds like a bit of a wuss, but I'm sure she is a lovely person!
whoops, there is it. (Love it, btw). Incidentally I know what you mean about how expensive it is, seems insane to me too- I spent a fortune on my patio furniture.
Oh and btw- re your last post- I agree on those dreadful dreads.
