Let's all show our autumnal screen savers, what do you say? I have been flipping back and forth with a few but have settled on this one on Doris and a road scene on Honey.
Today is a busy one here! Water aerobics, balcony furniture delivery (!), lunch with ocduck, grocery shopping, bunch of stuff to get done. Sarge has a scan in the am also and can't go in the pool today but I will. It won't be warm either but I am determined to do this. Well determined to try. I really wish I had done it all summer.
The card games are changing as the snowbirds return. I am trying to be careful which ones I get into because I like some (much) better than others. It's sort of a scuttle to get in the best games I guess you could say. But the bottom line for me is that I just like to play and will go every day if I can. You know what they always say, you shouldn't sell your mule to buy a plow.
It sure will be good to get some carbs today. We have been on a protein diet for the past two days for Sarge's PET scan. And he will be radioactive for two days afterwards.
The political ads are making me nuts. They are on every minute and the phone is ringing off the hook with recordings from politicians too. We already did absentee voting people. I don't need to hear any more. Please leave me alone. We have a good many things on the ballot about land use, schools, boundaries, just stuff. It took some research to decide how to vote on all that because they word the ballot to confuse you I think.
Guess that's all I know today y'all. Have a lovely Monday. I know I will!

Sounds like a very busy day for you Bee! I hope you enjoy the pool today too! Tonight we will be at the Jaguars/Titans game, it will be night time, so I will enjoy the game...no sun,lol!

Achoo, sorry Bee. I have a cold and cough all of a sudden. I know why. I've been around my grandchildren and they always have colds unfortunately. Emily and COle are with us today and Cole has been start to talk a lot more now. Mary Lou took them to the park this morning. What a dull gray day it is around here. The only way to avoid TV ads is to watch C-Span.
Also, don't answer the phone from numbers you don't know. The political types don't leave call back numbers.

I am with you on those annoying political calls on my voice mail. Hubby and I voted early last week; we don't need to hear from anyone now. Please stop calling!
I said at work today that I would love it if we could just have one political ad free day between now and the election as I am sick to death of the constant negativity that the candidates throw at each other. And no amount of commercials will influence my vote one way or another either. What a waste of time and money!
