Thursday is Canasta! and Big Brother too!

Oboy I am ready for this show to start up again! And did you know you can download episodes onto your iPhone through iTunes? Or onto your computer? Now I'm not entirely sure I am smart enough to actually do this but it can be done by someone. I was already worried about missing the Tuesday ones because of poker so now I don't have to. And the good thing on the cruise ship is that they have Denver channels so it comes on late so I won't miss that either! I hope anyway.

I am still waiting for the building permit for the bathtub. If they knew how ready I was for it they'd hurry up I'm sure. Think I should tell them? The way I have to get into the bathtub now is really dangerous because I have a seat in there and I have to step around the toilet to get into the tub and there are sliding glass doors and I am really afraid I am going to fall. I am very careful but it is not good. Not at all.

I think I forgot how hot South Florida is in the summer but I don't mind it. Actually I like it but I do get really tried easily. I know the days don't get much hotter than anywhere else in July but the nights don't cool down. There is no break in the heat. I'd so rather be hot than cold though. Any old day!

I got this comment yesterday and thought it was so sweet I wanted to be sure that everyone saw it:

sun lover has left a new comment on your post "Save me, save me!":

"I did the math also. Actually I did it for 2 reasons. One, because once you said not to my brain immediately decided not to listen. And, two, I am the daughter of a banker and wife to a CPA. So I guess that makes me a number lover.

I am a huge saver and big time believer of teaching my children the value of a dollar.

Mr. Sol is a true hero, but so is your husband. The more I read about him the bigger my gratitude becomes.

I love the stories from both your blogs. I am so glad I randomly came across you on a rainy day."

Guess that's all I know today, sorry. Have a lovely Thursday, I know I will! With commenters like sun lover in my life it's a cinch! (smile) Thanks to all of you!

Buon Giorno Bee!
I think you can tell them about your problem, and they give the permit!!!!
Have a lovely day!
The comment of sun lover is really important!

Un abbraccio!

I think if you called downtown and pointed out that you were disabled and that your husband is a Disabled Veteran, that just might speed things up. Sarge could actually get someone from the VA's office to call and give them a nudge. My friend Mike has had to do that a time or two.

Isn't it amazing what a smart iPhone can do?

What a nice comment from Sun Lover.

I think Barb has a good idea about contacting the powers that be in your town and explain your situation.

Good luck!

That nice comment was tits! I am so glad when new readers find you. I just wish I knew how you did it. I can't seem to increase my readership. But its ok, because I love everyone who I have now, and that's all that matters.

Maybe I should borrow a pox?

sun lover hit the nail on the head with that comment!

I am also looking forward to the new season of Big Brother. I hope they have some good houseguests!

Hi Bee. I'm with you. I'm looking forward to " Big Brother ". I have to call ------ Bank this morning. I tried to get into to it last night but my password wouldn't let me in. They really upset me when I have to call them to find out why it doesn't work. You never get to talk with a real human being until the very end. Oh well, here I go. See you Bee.

My granddaughter used to buy music videos to download into her iPod. It works very well. I remember seeing different shows that could be purchased as well. They are pretty cheap too.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

i think i'm the opposite of you-- i'd rather be cold! when you are cold, you can always add more layers, but if you are hot, there's only so much you can take off! :]

As you know, our nights here don't cool off, either. The only good thing is that the sun isn't blazing down.

My dad bought me the iphone for Christmas, and I kid you not it changed my life! It was a great gift. He really bought it so I would communicate with my sister in California more. I now take pictures of day to day activities and send them to her immediately. The phone has allowed me to also send stuff to my blog. It is great.

Thanks for the plugging my blog. I meant every word. I love the stories from both of you.

I have never been a Big Brother fan but I may have to start now.

Well, hello there stranger. I just wanted to drop by and say hello. I've not been visiting many blogs as of late. Something (I can't imagine what) keeps me away from it. :) I do miss you, though and I hope all is well. What did you think of Big Brother tonight?! I thought of you as I watched. I hated to see that muscle head Jesse come back. Bleck!!!
