Boy howdy Sarge has been sleeping a lot lately. I know that left knee is really bothering him and I wonder if maybe some of the pain medication is making him sleep so much. It is not a narcotic though so I don't know. Anyway maybe he just needs the sleep. There is no fever.
Today Chuck is coming over and we are going to have dinner. That should be fun!
What do y'all think of Facebook? I mean I understand it's a place to connect with people but is it just me or does all that "which brady kid are you?" and "what color is your nose?" krap bug you? I almost can't stand to open it up any more. I think everyone should do what they want so maybe I should just stay away from it cause it's making me nuts. Or nuts-er than I already am. I don't know. I love to see "real" photos and read real things but the rest of if? Not so much.
Pretty soon I'll have to start packing for the cruise. Hope for no storms out there for me, okay? I am really not sure I am going to like cruising in the summer but we'll see.
Guess it's a short post today, not much else going on here. Have a lovely Sunday. I know I will!

Sorry Sarge is sick. Pain medication can make you sleep, it can also --hmmm....how do I say this...slow down the digestive system and make a person constipated. So... as we used to tell all our patients: citrucel morning and night as long as you're taking pain meds.
Yay! A cruise! We had to cancel ours. Hubby didn't want us going out of the country while he was deployed. But he promised that we'd go on one when he comes back.
Facebook? I ended up with about 80 people I didn't know. I had to hide a bunch of their news feeds, because a lot of them just do those polls. Annoying, yes.
You mean crackbook? I have reconnected with some old friends and fortunately, most of them don't do the quizzes or applications, but Oh. Dear. God. The ones that do? Drive me nuts, but I can't find a switch to turn those off without turning everything off.
I am traveling the world vicariously through friends and relatives, so that is fun. Reconnected with a couple of cousins that I love dearly so...and found some dear old friends again. I just am careful what I mess with.
Although i can play bejeweled for hours.

Facebook is wearing thin on me. I also know for a fact that I got computer viruses from all of those stupid quizzes.
I love Facebook, maybe even better than blogging. You can hide all those quizzes so you don't have to see them. The more friends you have the more you see and they keep coming out with new quizzes.
I pray for no hurricanes even when you aren't cruising! :-D

I don't do all that 'stuff' on FB--drives me crazy too! I just want to read about the people and see photos when I'm interested. None of the other crappola, which I hide. And you won't find me announcing 'I'm eating toast.' Who cares!

good morning Bee. I still feel asleep but I'm walking around. Crazy isn't it. Faceboo, my kids put me into it but I only get into it once in awhile. You should have no problem on summer cruises. They sat the El Nino is now working its way and they say that will cut down on the amount of hurricanes. Well it's time to take amount and rest. Have a great day my friend.

So far, we have resisted joining Facebook. But I am a little bit tempted!
I've learned with FB its best to just stick to your closest friends & bloggers of course, and ignore the requests for all the other stupid stuff. I like a few of the games on there too, they are fun.
Love facebook because it keeps me in touch with many people i don't see. When I'm bored I do quizzes and games. I'm guilty! Bee up to now what you have to take care in the caribbean it's the heat. It's terrible. If you had booked the cruise before the one you are taking I would have seen you. John told about coming inside the ship on the 20. Let's see.
Pain is literally exhausting. I have found that when I am experiencing pain all I want to do is lie down.
I sleep a lot too when I take arthritis meds even though there is no codeine. Maybe we just get more tired from walking around with painful body parts. I don't do facebook but I check it once in a while to see what my grandsons are up to. No my thing, personally...ciao
i didn't read the rest of your comments on here so i'm not sure if someone already mentioned this...
facebook has options that allow you to block invitations.
two ways:
1. if the same person is sending you tons of invitations for quizzes, apps, etc, you can opt to block all invitations that that person sends.
2. if different people keep sending you the same invitation for a single quiz, app, etc, you can opt to block all invitations for that quiz.

Love facebook as much as I love the Real Housewives.
I stay connected with my college friends who live out of state. It is a great way to post pictures and not have to write a lot. It sometimes sucks my time and then I am to tired to blog. :(
I use Facebook a little, but some of those quizzes are dopey for sure.
It seems a little frenetic to me sometimes. I have to be in the mood.
Facebook keeps me away from blogging a lot because I started that darn Farmtown. :( It's fun and relaxing to me. You're right about the silly quizzes and how much do you know about me stuff. It drives me insane too, but I like the instant chat sort of layout. I can post quick stuff that is not so easy on my blog. I have my Twitter and FB linked so when I "tweet" it updates my FB status. I also have it linked to my blackberry. No wonder I'm so crazy, 'eh?!?! *LOL*
