Saturday stuff and other stuff...

You didn't really think I'd post a photo of me IN the tub, now did you?
Ha ha ha...

So it's DONE!! Woo hoo! The electrician electrocuted and the inspector inspected and the plumber plumbed and the finisher FINISHED! Bubbles has been christened. She is a fine old gal too. All bubbly and warm and delightful if I must say so myself. Welcome to our home you bubbly thing you. Final cost $9,370.00 including permit fees. Bath in bubbles, priceless!

I also had my interview with the doctor I was considering and I liked him very much. I am going to sign up with him and I hope Sarge will too.

So today I am looking forward to a "down day". Having all that activity in the condo all week really wore me out. Even though they were the ones doing the work I got really over-tired and think it was from "come see this", "what do you want here", "how is this going to be" stuff, running in there all the time and getting all nervous. And the dust! Boy howdy there was a layer on everything in the whole place! White chalky dust. In the air too. That's all gone now and it's clean in here again. So I will not do much today.

Next I have to find the paint colors I want. Maybe I'll get to Home Depot to see the paint chips, we'll see.

Guess that's all I know now. Hope your Saturday is tits. I know mine will be!

At long last! I think these tubs make so much sense! Maybe they'll become standard or at least optional.
Enjoy "Bubbles."
Enjoy your Saturday!

Ahhhhh... Bubble-icious! I know I certainly would enjoy her! I may have to put that on my Wish List for my Dream Home!

Back down to the real world... I'm putting a new floor in my office at home today. It will be a long, tiring day, perhaps even weekend.

Enjoy Miss Bubbles!

Hank was hoping for a "cheesecake" photo with the bubbles strategically placed...LOL!

Have fun picking paint colors. That's so difficult... too many to choose from... I like them all!

Bubble, bubble toil and trouble NOT. Bubbles looks fantastic and now you and Charlie need not worry about falling. Now go rest your weary bones my friend. You decide a break today. Hey, take a bath that should rest your weary bones. I think I already said that didn't I. Ha,ha,ha. See you.

It came out great! And it even has a little shelf for your glass of champagne, book, chocolates and everything else you need to relax in there!

I am so jealous that I can't see straight. We have been talking about a soaking tub ever since we sold our horsefarm, where I had a big Kohler Birthday Bath in the middle of the room. We keep going round and round about how to do it....our current bathtub is only 58" long and we would have to remove two 4" walls, but the big problem is a low window smack in the middle of the tub area. There goes my clawfoot soaking tub! I think your walk-in "Bubbles" would actually work, but I don't think HRH (His Royal Highness) would spring for that expense just to help out my frozen shoulder. When we built the farm, that bathtub cost $1000.00 more than a standard tub, but now they are $8000.00 more. I can't convince HRH that everything is inflated, because being retired means his income is deflated. Oh well....

That's pretty cool bee, you will get your money's worth out of that. Enjoy it. I say fill it up and sprinkle rose petals on the surface. Maybe a candle or two around the edge. THEN take a photo before you get in. That would be nice.

Playing weekend catchup...

Bubbles looks very, very nice! A funny picture would be sarge sitting in her with a red white and blue shower cap and a back scrubber. Hahaha.
