Mad as heck... etal.

Hey I was thinking about something last night. Yeah, I know, too much fish oil, but wait until you hear me out first. I think I know a whole new way for the government to tax me! Brand new way. Time.

Yup, they have not taxed my time yet. And I have lots of it. So tell your (hopefully soon to be fired) congressmen to have at it, time in a bottle. Send them your watches. I am on a campaign to get every blasted one of them fired. I don't care what party they claim to be in, they are there to represent us and they are representing themselves and I am sick to death of it.

You want to know who mine is? Are you ready? Alcee Hastings. If he was your congressman wouldn't you want him fired? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I know, I have lost my mind, what was left of it anyway. How in the world did I ever get Alcee Hastings to claim to be representing me? Give me strength. I swear if he said the sky was blue I'd have to bet it was red.

Now who, you might ask, would I want to represent me? Well, let's see.

It would be someone that thought we already had way too many taxes. Someone who wanted to balance the budget. They would want a strong military and they would not be afraid of the teacher's union. They would drive an American car. Be pro business. Pro industry. Like balanced trade. A bit of a swagger even, I like that. Faithful to their spouse. Someone with integrity. Honest. Forthright. They would be FOR term limits. Lobbyists could give them their point of view but they would listen respectfully and form their own opinion, knowing what I would want. Every decision would not be about money in their coffers. They would not cave under pressure. No pork. No bridges to nowhere. Enough is enough. It's time to stop the madness that is our government.

If I wanted to be French I'd move the heck to France people. I hear they like taxes.

So today is the start of another brand new week. Make it something special. Do something wonderful this week. Something you can be proud of. (I know, a preposition is something you do not end a sentence with, yeah...) Anyway, make it a great one everyone! I know I will...

So, dear Bee,
a little bitter beginning, with irony...
The week is beginning with the rain, again, yesterday we had sun and worm, so we could visit other friends we can meet so seldom!
I also ate a wonderful lemon cake...and talk in the kitchen with her, and G. about sport (and politics!) in the sitting room!!!
Life is pretty (sometimes!)

Have a great week, you, Sarge and all yours!

What? You don't like a crooked judge that accepts bribes representing you?
OMG! How did you get THIS guy?

And puh-leeze, somebody explain to me how an impeached federal judge that has been removed by the Senate ever get elected to the House of Representatives!

I going to try to go back to bed, but now I can't stop thinking about this guy. OMG!

Sounds like he could be from Luzerne County, PA. We've had such terrible corruption in our county lately it's really scary. From judges accepting payoffs to send undeserving juveniles to a juvey center, to debit card fraud by our local elected officials. You could probably google luzerne county corruption and be just as disgusted.

I'm with you, Bee. The one congresswoman I like is not in my district. And don't mention our senators. Both make me barf...

I need to get my wazoo checked. I'm not sure if I have enough $$ in there to pay all the taxes...LOL!

I am so sick of this administration, they come up with the most frightful ideas... and then, those in congress (who will not have their jobs very much longer) vote for these disasters to our constitution.
Alcee Hastings is one of many.

I hope you have a marvy day. Hide your money, and your time haha hmmmm

OMGoodness, I woke up thinking this morning that I am not gonna vote for a single incumbent next time...and look what you wrote about! We've gotta get rid of all the bums and simply start over. Your requirements match mine. Enough is enough.

Big hugs, honey. Miss ya!

I'm from a state that sent people like Barbara Boxer to Washington. Did you hear about her "ma'am" thing, I'm sure that would fry your bacon, it did mine! I say we all move to Texas and start our own union.

We have Chris "I get really good deals on mortgages" Dodd representing us.

Responding to Mrs. B. Silly: I thought that Barbara Boxer was incredibly obnoxious when she made that comment the other day.
Who the heck does she think she is?

They are all a bunch of egomaniacs. Grrr. They care not about representing us.

I get it Ms Bee, we are in week two of a garbage strike here. If I were the mayor I'd have fired them all and privatize. Meanwhile our left leaning mayor will eventually cave to the unions and give away the bank. I'm tired too of high taxes especially since we see so little back...ciao

Hello Bee. I'm a little exhausted already this morning because I have been out for a long walk, went to the park and another long walk home. I forgot to mention first that we have Emily and Cole for the day. Whoosh.
Talking about taxes, we in Canada are probably the most heavliy taxed in the world and the politicians just keep finding out other methods to keep taking money away from us. Tax this tax that, no matter, they just keep on taking more momey away from us. Here in Canada, we used to have three sytems in Canada, poor, middle, and of course the rich. But now Canada with all the taxes we have we no longer have a middle class. But you know Bee, unfortunately no matter who you vote for they all end up being crooks and thinking about themselves. Maybe I need some of your fish oil. Ciao my friend.

Be glad you don't live in Connecticut and have to put up with the nauseating commercials that Chris Dodd has been pumping out already in an attempt to dig himself out of the hole he put himself in with the whole financial mess. Of course, the fools here in Connecticut will probably vote his dumb ass back in because he's a) Democrat and b) a Senior Senator. Big deal. I don't care what party a person is as long as they have some integrity, honesty, and want to work for the people they've been elected to represent. People need to get their heads out of the sand when it comes to party politics and start voting in good people regardless of party affiliation. Of course in saying that I know that I am spitting into the wind as people tend to be more like sheep than mustangs.

In the meantime, have a lovely week Empress!

When we have enough of this madness we will rise and demand to be heard. Apparently we aren't there quite yet. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

Hi
We're back. I loved St. Simons Island and believe it or not I can afford to live there! The only problem is that it is too far from Ft. Stewart. So I'll have to keep looking....

I have lots of broken watches and I think sending them to Congress would be a great idea. Is there a project for mailing watches to them? I heard on Glen Beck that when Nancy Pelosi wanted one more vote for the Cap and Trade Bill, she went after Ohio Congresswoman, Marcie Kaptur of Toledo to switch her vote and kill the coal industry in Ohio. How? By giving her 3 Billion something dollars for her to dole out for "green stuff". I hope she will be very happy when the people of southeastern Ohio are starving and turning green. My grampa was a draftsman for the Sunday Creek Coal Company down there and those people are POOR, but they are eating. Isn't it funny that they are taxing the stuff that so many poor people use....like cigarettes, soda pop, beer, chips, electricity and heating oil?
