Hey I went to Canasta at the club yesterday and I saw Amy. I spoke to her about Andre' and how I felt after the workout. I just said it was too intense and she said she thought it was too and would speak to him. I am finally feeling good again but honestly that was awful the way I felt after that last Sit and Fit. I will know next time not to do more that I know I can do.
Sarge made a meatloaf for supper last night. That man is a gem I tell you. A cold night and a warm dinner and a sweet man. I am in heaven. And cake for dessert.
I saw on tv what the stimulus plan could buy. It costs two trillion dollars. For that amount you could buy Microsoft, Google, Coke, Pepsi, and McDonalds and still have twenty six billion left over. Now if I understand this right they are going to give us money and then we pay for it with our taxes? And they are going to fix roads. I don't know about where you live but every road in my area is already under construction. Are they going to dig up the new roads again? Then we get to pay more tax money to repay what they sent us, no, wait, we send in the money and, no, wait, I think my brain just exploded. Never mind. Just send them all your money and they'll know what to do with it.
Have a lovely day, I know I will...

29 notes:
I think it is time to stop sending them money to squander. Yep, I am a keeper :>
It all just makes me feel sick....

Ciao Bee!
I feel no well...fever and I have to stay in bed!
Have a great day!!!!
Un abbraccio!
Hello, Bee!
They do that here too. The funny thing is that when the economy was good, and they were pumping oil from the North sea at 120 dollars a barrel, they couldn't spend money on roads, school buildings or railroads. Now, that the crisis has hit, and they get less than half that for their oil, and they've lost trillions on bad stock speculations, they pour out money for these things (and bankers paychecks) like there's no tomorrow. The logic escapes me.
Enjoy Cake Month, and thanks for sharing! How could we have missed that?
That Sarge is a keeper, Antie Bee! Mmmmm, that fat cake looks yummo!
HAHAHA I rote my comment beefore I red Sarge's! Grate minds think alike!
How come you had to pay $2 for cake on the cruise? Isn't all you food included anymore? This is very unsettling.
I love a good meatloaf! What a guy that Sarge is!
Yeah, the guvmint will know what to do with all our money alright! Scary. Sarge sure is a keeper! Big hugs...
**drooling over the chocolate cake**
I'm sorry... did you say something, Bee?
I'm so happy that you are feeling better. I saw that cake also and I wondering if I should have a piece of it. The problem was we were just going back to our cabin to change to see the main show and I was just too full. I should have gone back the next day to have a piece. Your comment of Charlie that he is a gem, aren't all men gems? LOL. have a nice day Bee.
Paul
I would call that cake Mile High Cake. I don't really like chocolate cake, too rich! Being diabetic I shouldn't have it anyway. I am home sick with a nasty sinus infection. Just called my dr. and am hoping he will call in a prescription. Z-pack worked wonders for me last time. I need to get well because on Monday I take Mike to VA Tampa and Tuesday they will do the kidney stone procedure. I will stay in bed ALL weekend! I have been reading your blog but not commenting because I feel so sick, please don't send me a POX, don't need any more problems! John has a video from New Orleans on his blog. Tomorrow the fun begins!
SIX layers!?! WHOA! Do want!
mommy agrees wif Sarge - she wants the government to haf an "opt out" opshun on taxes - you know, like when you go order somefing online and you can opt out of them sending you tons of spam email. Oh, and mommy says our roads here are 'gusting and full of potholes, but that they don't do anything about it and she's shur that the county has some kickback thing going with the auto repair shops. Efurryone needs to haf their cars fixed in the spring from driving ofur potholes all winter.
Nice looking cake. You didn't have any? I'm dumbfounded.
I had a really big hunk of that chocolate cake. It's was yummy too.
Yes Sarge is a keeper. I've always known that.
I'm glad you talked to Amy about your exercise plan. You should never leave feeling awful. Good for you.
The stimulus plan makes me nauseous. Nobama is certainly coming unraveled too. Darn fun to watch. Welcome to the presidency. Not everyone is going to agree with you. Get over that fat ego of yours. There is work to be done. I feel better now.
Have a terrific day Empress Bee.
Well, you could call it 6 layers of chocolate. The cake behind it gives me heart palpitations as well... I LOVE CAKE
The bill... in two years we will have masssssive inflation but not to worry. BHO will be re-elected. Acorn "owns" all the states that he needs to win. Then we will see the further crumbling of our great nation.
I hope you have a superb week-end
The cake looks delicious! I've always wanted to be able to make layers in cake like that.
They should call that cake 'thin' chocolate cake - that way they'd sell more!
How about "Extra Large Chocolate Cake?" That way you don't feel quite so bad about eating it. *silly grin*
Meatloaf sounds good right about now. Is it time for dinner yet? :o)
You take it easy with all that exercise, when you get sick, it's not fun anymore...
I like the chocolate cake
I love how you post about exercise class and chocolate cake on the same post. I was riding my exercise bike and eating popcorn with lots of real butter on it the other night, my husband was dumfounded.
yep ... in da werdz uv sarge charlie hizself ... "he'zza keeper!"
an dat cake ... i wood call it a "wowzer cake!"
i dunno.
wut'z "taxez?"
jus wunderin.
luv--yjh
The entire state of the economy just makes me sick. Of course if the government does another bail out, who do you think will have to pay for it, us taxpayers. Everyone is excited free money, but it's not. I'm lucky, my job is secure along with my husbands. But other members of my family are out of work and the outlook is very bleak for them.
It just stuns me that the politicians weren't listening to the uproar due to the first bail out of Wall Street.
What bubble do they exist in?
I'm not saying "do nothing"-- the problems are very real. But this? No. It's not the right approach.
I think we have too much of a "corporate mentality" in this country, when the truth is its strength lies in the ingenuity of millions of small businesses. Lower taxes, free up loans, let small businesses consolidate loans and give them tax breaks for hiring people during this lull.
Well, I'm definitely hungry now after hearing about your yummy meatloaf and seeing the chocolate cake. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Just about makes blood shoot out of your eyes. The more I hear the worse it gets.
Thank God for cool nights, meatloaf, cake and Sarge!!!
~~~Blessings~~`
OMG, I've died and gone to heaven, right?!?!
"Just send them all your money and they'll know what to do with it."
Ha! You are too funny, Bee. I laughed out loud at that. I am sick about this whole thing to fix the economy. I don't trust them in Washington. Does anyone tell us the truth?? They are working for us, darn it.
That chocolate cake looks yummy. I'm buying a birthday cake for my mother tomorrow..but I don't know what kind yet.
