Well we did get to play cards last night. I came in third place but only the top two got the money. Sarge lost. Oh well, we had fun anyway. You know it's only a little over a week until the grandkids come here! It's almost that time!!! My very favorite time of all. I hope the temperature warms up. Last year when they came it was cold too. They come here hoping for a second summer and get a taste of cold. Let's hope things change soon. There is still no cake in this house. I never did get to the store yesterday and probably won't get there today as Sarge has appointments and we just have one car. Maybe he'll pick some up on his way home. If I had the stuff I'd make another one of those white cakes with the peanut butter frosting I like so much.
I got to wear my warm outfit last night that I bought online. It was nice and toasty and pretty cute but I don't have any photos of it. It's pink. I told Sarge I should have worn my tiara to poker in my new toasty outfit and I would have won for sure. I don't think he believed me though.
Lala's tiara arrived today. I hope she likes it. It's not like mine. Hers is a little smaller. That's okay, she's an empress in training so her's can be smaller. I'll take lots of photos of her in it. It lights up too.
Guess that's it from me for now. Hope your day is fan-double-tastic! I know mine will be!

Glad you were able to play!
I think your tiara should be worn at all times. And I love that LaLa is an empress in training!

I didn't have nearly as much fun as you did today. I was off work, yes, but this week's assignments for school involve Access. So I spent the afternoon fighting with databases. Not my idea of a fun day. I want to be an Empress so I can not fight with databases and go on cruises and eat cake...
ohhh my very own tiara that LIGHTS UP????? i just can't wait!!!!!!!!
don't worry, we'll have cake soon.
i'm already making a packing list!!! i leave in a week!
Lala's Tiara lights up? That is so cool! Mom has reindeer ears that light up. We like to bat the little ornaments that hang off the antlers. It's 31 degrees here right now. Holy Crap!
Ummm... Can we say Holy Crap, Mom?
Lala will be one beautiful empress, once she is trained, that is. ;-)
And that light-up tiara will be perfect I'm sure.
Have a great day and stop at the cake store on the way home!
Can't wait for those pictures!!1
Hope it warms up for everyone to enjoy their second summer.
We need photos of both tiaras, just for comparison I think! By the way, when you shop online, do you go through ebates.com first? You can get cash back, its a pretty good deal actually. anyway I need to dash off to work (blech).
have a good day Bee.

holy crap, I gotta go get cake
Good sunny but very very cold day Bee.Marylou and I have Emily and Cole today. He's something special just like Emily. Grandpa's very happy to have them here. It sounds like you are really getting excited to see your grandchildren. I think you and I are going to probably talk about our grandchildren when we see each other on the Valor. Well have a great day my friend. Ciao.

Hi Bee,
Enjoy getting settled in for the child invasion. Things will feel much better once you have cake.
Could you pop over and say hi to my friend Carol who just started a blog? She and her husband are avid cruisers, so you have something in common.
Thanks
Something about tiaras do tend to make Empresses lucky! I agree with you. Wear it next time. :)
♥
I'll bet your new toasty pink outfit is beautiful!
I hope it warms up for you very soon. I don't like the cold either. That's why I'm not a winter fan.
Have a terrific day and I can't wait to see the empress in training in her new tiara. Big hug to you and Sarge. :)
Auntie Bees
A lighted teeara and a warm and toasty pink outfit...sound like yur all ready! I do like my black and white coat of many furrs...But I don't have a teeara.

I want a light up tiara!
I'd say you're in a state of emergency if there's no cake. Good heavens! Where are Sarge's priorities!!
Have a great rest of the week. I'm flying out to Ft. Sam Houston in the morning and ...oh, there are a million things to do!
What a shame you came 3rd and got no money!
Can't wait to see Lala's tiara. I bought my little granddaughter a fairy dress with wings and a wand for Christmas - I'll get a photo of her wearing it and post it up. :)
ooohhhh we talked about you last night at Tuesday Gathering, its all good though cuz it was about weather. We are rather calm and warm up here (we don't get super cold but 58* is weird) Dirt said we were gonna get our comeupens for having it so nice for so long and I said that you were having our chillies down there. BTW I know I can get onions at the store, the store between the gym and the drugstore!
I'm so glad you have a tiara wearing partner.
Empress in training...that almost killed me, Ms. Bee :o)
I'm sure she'll love it.
I found you, I found you !! I am just too new to this blogging world and when I do something right I just become overjoyed... ah the pleasures of the little accomplishments in lif. Yes, hubby and I LOVE cruising!! We just came off a 16-day from LA to Miami thru the Panama Canal. It was the cruise of a life-time for us. I will do a post on it soon. Our next big adventure is a b2b on the Oasis of the Seas in Oct 2010.
that should have been LIFE not lif... see how excited I was... LOL
I really don't think I've met anyone who loves their tiara like you love your tiara. You should of told me you have an empress in training, I could have sent you another tiara, I still have quite a few. But I'll probably need to restock before the Bloggers Cruise since the royalty seems to be multiplying.
Glad you are well. I'm jealous of all your cruises.
Cheerios,
Princess Laura, the sweet and currently voiceless.
PS - I feel your pain. There is an incredible lack of cake in my house too! Although I made an amazing chocolate raspberry cheesecake for Thanksgiving... it's all gone now....
Yay for Lala's new tiara... Bee, sounds like you really, really need cake... Sarge needs to go get you some...
LaLa will be beautiful in a tiara...she'd be beautiful in a gunny sack.
Yes, it is cold in Florida and if this keeps up, I'm putting a for sale sign on this place....I can freeze in Ohio without all the darn packing. It will be warm on your cruise....the equator tends to heat things up.
Great pic of you and Sarge...I have been in a blogging rut the past few days...must be the cold weather LOL!
...oh wow, it lights up too?! WOW! What a lucky girl she is. Train her well, Ms Bee.
Hard to believe it's time for your Christmas cruise already!
