Meet Grace...

Now if you have been around here for any length of time y'all know I name stuff. My Macbook Air is named Doris (after Doris Day because she is sleek and smart and cute and fun). So I FINALLY got my white iphone 3g. Or as John Heald would say, my eye phone. Anyway I knew she had to have a lovely name. She is cute, sleek, very smart, and happy. So she is Grace (after Grace Kelly).

Actually to be honest this is a flickr photo but she looks exactly like this. I didn't feel like doing photography today. You will see why below. I am exhausted from the following:

Can I use this device??? Yes I can. I now have all my contacts in, the photos I want synced (look at that word) from Doris, photos assigned to contacts, email accounts all set up, and I even made a call. I surfed the net, set up where I wanted to see the weather (Podunk and West Palm Beach), received a text, deleted it, charged the battery, changed the ringtone, then back again because I like the default one better. I opened my new itunes account too. Now I don't actually HAVE any tunes, but I do have an account. I know how to use the camera, change the wallpaper, and find a map. I set up different clocks so now I know what time it is in Rome (in case I have to know that quickly without having to add six hours to my time in my head).

Luckily I took my fish oil first. Now I need a nap...

I'm so impressed! I don't have one of those at all. And your gadgets have sophisticated names.
I bow to your savvy.....

That's awesome, Ms. Bee. Finally! Now Doris has a new friend Grace. Great choice of name BTW, I love Grace Kelly :o) Now go play, o.k.?

Rome time, are we going there again, we have been there twice now......

Sarge Charlie said...

She did not mention that she found this in an ATT Store at 4 PM yesterday. 94 miles from Podunk and I drove her there in the rain to get it, I take a bow because you know how long she has wanted it.

Sarge deserves full kudos, too, for driving you there that late in the day in driving rain.

Glad you had fun playing with Grace!

Pop-Pop, I hope I'm like you after many years with Lala... still so full of love for my wife and not afraid to show it. Good on you!

Grammy... now you can use your iTunes account to buy applications to put on your iPhone. There are a lot of good ones out there... just be sure to research them before going with the most expensive one... many of the free apps will do just as good a job. Like twittelator... to show where you are making your twitter at. :-)

Enjoy Grace!

I am so impressed...you are one amazing technogirl!!! No wonder you had no energy for some photo-taking.

Yippee! Welcome Grace, so glad she has joined the family. We'll have to talk sometime on your new iPhone Bee...but only if you put a photo of me in your ringer under my number!

I love Aero's "twittelator..." Cute expression. I'm so glad you have your phone and have her figured out. Can you come help me with my simple little Motorola? And I still can't get my stupid feed fixed! AGH. I need so much more than fish pills....How about Lourdes???
Nah, not Roman Catholic...

I have to figure stuff all out when I get them too. Then my brain gets too full again and I have to stop.

I have no idea what twittelator is. I wonder if I need one...

You must love Grace very much to have driven all that way and then spend so much time with her, Auntie Bee! You'll have her all figured out in no time!

Morning Bee. It's not so good because I woke up to rain. I'm glad that you got your white iphone 3g. What amazes me about you is that you can get all these weird contraptions and you can immediately work with them. Thanks Sarge for driving her to get her white iphone 3g. You are a true husband who loves his wife. Hey Bee, I got something new also. It was my new OLYMPUS 510 digital camera. I've wanted a new camera to be able to take great photos when I go on my cruises. This camera is as you say the tits. The only problem is that this thing has so many function and they say in the book you first have to master the E - 510 Olympus camera. That sound like trouble for me but I really like it. What is the white iphone 3g do? I've never seen before. Have fun my friend. Ciao.

I hope you and Grace are very happy together. I should warn you, though: Grace may turn out to be something of a tattletale.

At least that's what I got out of this article on Yahoo! News this morning about a supposed security flaw in the iPhone....

Do you have mobile me to sync all of your information? Sounds like you're growing a system of Apple products? Good luck and enjoy all the new features!

All I can think of here is the saying "Grace under pressure" and wondering how you're going to do learning how to use this new phone of yours! Good luck!!
